- Mary Cone Barrie Scholarship for Lifelong Learning, sponsored by Destiny Solutions

Destiny Solutions created the Mary Cone Barrie Scholarship to applaud the efforts of two exceptional lifelong learners.
The annual scholarship is available to any currently enrolled non-traditional learner residing in Canada or the United States who has changed their life and the lives of others through lifelong learning.
Each award is valued at $2,500. Applications are due by July 29, 2011.

Scholarship
Students with an Associate's degree from a Massachusetts community college and a GPA of 3.0. - SUN Scholarship Program
Tough economic times are impacting everyone. To assist students in meeting today's financial challenges, Professional & Continuing Education has introduced the SUN Scholarship. All UMass Dartmouth students who take an eligible credit courses during the summer of 2011 will receive a scholarship of $50 or more for each course.
To be eligible you must be a UMass Dartmouth undergraduate student, full-time or part-time – and matriculated in any one of our degree programs. Scholarships are on a per course basis, therefore the more courses you take, the more you will be awarded.
To obtain your scholarship award level call the Enrollment Center at 508-999-9129 or 8857. The amount of each student's SUN Scholarship was determined by the Financial Aid Office and was based on your financial need. Scholarship Exception Policy.
- UMD Teacher Transition Scholarship *
Responding to local and regional budget cutbacks, UMass Dartmouth's Professional & Continuing Education has partnered with the School of Education, Public Policy and Civic Engagement in announcing a scholarship opportunity for recently laid-off K-12 teachers. This scholarship responds to the rising unemployment rate and layoffs in the K-12 teaching profession, providing laid-off teachers access to professional and educational opportunities during their transition.
Teachers are required to bring a copy of the letter notifying them of their change in teaching status at the time of registration each semester. The UMD Teacher Transition Scholarship can be applied to most PCE courses. Please see exclusions below. - South End (New Bedford)

PCE Scholarships cannot be applied to grant-funded, specially priced programs, international programs, independent study, directed study, technology fee, contract learning, and non-credit courses. In addition, PCE Scholarships cannot be combined with any waivers.Giving
