MINOR IN FINE ARTS
The Fine Arts faculty are pleased to inform you of the minor in Fine Arts in the Department of Fine Arts at CVPA. This new program is exciting and manageable, and may be of interest to many UMass Dartmouth students. Qualified students may select a minor within the Department of Fine Arts focused in one of the following areas: Painting, Printmaking, Drawing, Sculpture and Fine Arts General. Minors consist of 18 credits. Students take 12-15 credits from a selection of studio courses (200, 300 level) and one (1) or two (2) upper-level course/s (400-level). To declare a minor, students must meet university requirements and be approved by both the Fine Arts Department and the major option. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 in all minor classes. A review of progress in the chosen minor occurs during sophomore and/or junior reviews.
