Description:	Talk Title: "Choosing Science: Succeeding without Role Models" Abstract: Women in the sciences are still represented at lower levels than in other fields. This presentation will compare the representation (or lack of) STEM role models in television and the media compared to the reasons why women, who are in the sciences, choose these majors and continue with them.
