Faculty Conversation: Faculty with Young Families
|Date & Time:||
Monday , 03/11/2013
from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM
|Location:||OFD Lounge (Library 220)|
|Sponsored by:||Office of Faculty Development|
Faculty with young families face a particular set of challenges (childcare, schools, schedules, healthcare, etc.) for which they require support. If you are starting a family or already have been raising one, join us for a faculty conversation led by Anthony Arrigo (English) and Shannon Jenkins (Political Sciences) this Monday, March 11, 12:00-1:00, in the OFD lounge (Library 220). These lunch sessions are designed to connect faculty with common interests across departmental and college boundaries. The atmosphere is relaxed and the discussion tends to be quite lively. Although there is a facilitator (or more), there is no set agenda. Attendees are encouraged to follow-up on issues raised during these conversations. The OFD will facilitate efforts to sustain interest in those issues.
Lunch will be provided.
If you wish to attend, please RSVP to Sandy Viveiros, email@example.com or x9182.
