| Description: |
So your idea was great but the reviewers just didn't understand the project and rejected it? The experiment was well designed and executed but the reviewers misunderstood the findings and rejected the manuscript? A crucial component of successful grant writing and publishing is crafting a compelling argument in support of the project, and doing so in a clear, convincing way. The next Grant Seekers' Workshop will present a talk by Adrian Ahorn, a specialist in professional writing who has been hired by the Provost's office to advise faculty on grant writing. Mr. Ahorn will present a series of strategies and tips for writing a strong, successful proposal and will be available to answer questions after his presentation.
Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Sandy at sviveiros@umassd.edu or 9182, or contact Amy Shapiro for more information at ashapiro@umassd.edu. |
