Description: Dr. Robert Waxler, UMass English Professor and co-founder of the Changing Lives Through Literature program, will moderate a discussion panel. The panel consists of formerly incarcerated people and representatives of literacy organizations that serve prison populations. Panelists include William Gaul, Judge Robert Kane, Michael Krupa, and Edson Monteiro.

The event is at the Boston Public Library Commonwealth, 700 Boylston Street, Boston at 4pm.

The Boston Book Festival is an event, usually drawing about 20,000 people interested in books and reading. There are panel discussions, talks, and table displays throughout the Boston Area that day.
