Value-Adding Approaches to Pay Design and Administration
By: Pamela Coleman (Bridges to Performance)

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 (12pm-1:30pm) @ ATMC, 151 Martine St. Fall River, MA 02723

Businesses try to make sure that most of their energy – and their employees’ energy – is spent on value-added activities. Value is an important concept in considering the purchases we make and the relationships we seek. Value measured by return-on-investment is a valid and viable notion beyond the sensibility of corporate bounds. But how many businesses invest the time to really understand if the pay they are spending is properly and effectively directed to their value-adding employees? And how many pay infrastructures and reward levers are designed with value in mind?

How to Maximize Value from all your pay activities:
  • Job Design & Evaluation
  • Pay Infrastructure
  • Base Pay Management
  • Rewards
Pamela Coleman will present these ideas – and more – and lead an energetic discussion around pay design and management. She is an accomplished compensation and rewards thinker, skilled communicator and management advisor. She is a graduate of Brown University, with a major in psychology, and brings over 20 years of strategic compensation planning experience. She is a practiced project manager and uses change management philosophies to ensure project success.

Pam is the Compensation Practice Leader and owner of Bridges to Performance. She has worked with clients in various industries of different sizes – public and private – to design reward programs that align employees to culture and business drivers.
