"The Art of Patenting Chemistry" Andrew Chadeayne, Ph.D., J.D. What is a patent? Why should scientists care? How do you file a patent? Andrew Chadeayne will discuss the relationship between laboratories and law firms, and the power of knowing your way around both. Dr. Chadeayne learned chemistry at Princeton University under the tutelage of Mait Jones and at Cornell University under Pete Wolczanski. He moved on to receive his J.D. in patent law from George Washington University while working as a student associate and technical specialist at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett and Dunner, LLP. Andrew is now the President of SwimSpray, LLC., and the Director of Intellectual Property at NewMarket Pharmaceuticals, LLC. |
