The exhibition Here, There and Back Again: Artisanry Faculty and Alumni includes work by Artisanry Department faculty at UMass Dartmouth and selected alumni. Representing the media areas of Ceramics, Jewelry/Metals, Textile Design/Fiber Arts, and Furniture Design/Wood, the seven faculty each chose two BFA and MFA alumni to submit work. The pieces on display range from objects of utility to pieces with a more concept-based approach within each medium.
The exhibition runs from October 23 to November 9, 2012 with the opening reception at the gallery on Thursday, November 1st from 4 to 6pm. Visitors are advised to use parking lot 7. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 10am to 4pm, Friday 10am to 3pm. Free and open to public.
