An Evening of Jazz features the Monday Night Dues Band directed by John Harrison III, and the Large Jazz Ensemble which is directed by Dr. Marcia Bornhurst Parkes. Fresh and new arrangements of Big Band classics including works by George and Ira Gershwin, Van Morrison, Dave Rivello, Howard Rowe, Lisa DeSpain, Tom Davis, and others, as well as compositions for a small ensemble will be featured on the program.
Guests are urged to park in UMD Lot 7 near the berm, and look for signage pointing to the CVPA building entrance where there is elevator access to the first floor. |
