Laurie Butler, a distinguished chemistry professor from the University of Chicago, will be presenting a public talk, "Introductory chemistry, math, and physics in college: Understanding global warming, explosions, and solar energy alternatives." She will introduce some of the science behind several key public issues using fun demonstrations.
No science or math background is required, however, and everyone is welcome to attend. |
