The symposium will run from 8 am - 3 pm and will feature a keynote address by U.S. Congressman Bill Keating. Other speakers and topics include: Campaign Finance Reform Joseph Sandler, Esq. Election Law Attorney, Sandler, Reiff, Young & Lamb Political Corruption and the Prosecution of Massachusetts Politicians David Boeri Senior Reporter, NPR Boston A Political Scientist Looks for Law from the Supreme Court John Brigham, Ph.D. Professor of Political Science, UMass Amherst Caning v. NLRB: New Scope and New Meaning for the Recess Appoints Clause Jay Wexler Professor of Law, Boston University School of Law Revisiting Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act: Boerne and its Progeny Teresa Walsh Lecturer in Law, UMass School of Law Seating will be available on the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
