Description: Mr. John Bullard will share his expertise on global warming with the UMass Dartmouth Community on Friday, April 13th. His talk, which is based on Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, is entitled "Global Warming: What's Going on Here? What Do I Do about It?"

The talk will be held from 11am to 12:30pm in the Library Browsing Area. During his talk, Mr. Bullard will discuss the ramifications of global warming for the world and for our local community, and the steps SouthCoasters can take to lessen their individual impacts that contribute to global warming. Audience participation is encouraged.

Mr. Bullard is President of the Sea Education Association (SEA) in Woods Hole, a former mayor of New Bedford from 1986 to 1992, and director of NOAA's Office of Sustainable Development during the Clinton administration.
