UMass Dartmouth announces Winter Classes, January 5-23, 2009 November 20, 2008 Earn credit in January and accelerate your college education through UMass Dartmouth Professional & Continuing Education (PCE). Undergraduate and graduate courses can be taken online, face-to-face (f2f) or blended, a combination of online and f2f. Courses will be held in either the Fall River Continuing Education Center located at 139 South Main Street, or at the New Bedford Continuing Education Center located at 800 Purchase Street. Hessen-Engineering & Culture November 18, 2008 This winter break UMass Dartmouth is sending 15 students abroad on international education programs.  The majority of them are going to Germany.  The University of Massachusetts has a long standing exchange agreement with the State of Hessen, Germany and their universities.  As part of that exchange, UMass students are invited to take part in intersession programs offered by the German Universities and taught in English.  Students can take a number of different modules, touching upon a number of different subject areas and offered at various times during the summer months, as well as during Winter Break.
