"Forbidden City" exhibition to run Sept. 17 to Oct. 4 at CVPA Campus Gallery
Multimedia exhibition is a stunning fusion of painting, film, and music
The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) at UMass Dartmouth opens its 2007-2008 exhibition season with "Forbidden City." This multimedia exhibition, a stunning fusion of painting, film, and music, was conceived and created by husband and wife Honglei Li and Lily Yang. Both artists are students in the MFA Program at CVPA.
"Forbidden City" will be on view September 17 through October 4, 2007, in the CVPA Campus Gallery. There will be an artists' reception on Thursday, September 20, at 5:30pm. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am-5pm, or by appointment. The exhibition and its reception are free of charge and open to the public.
The CVPA Campus Gallery is located on the main campus of UMass Dartmouth at 285 Old Westport Road, North Dartmouth. The gallery can be found on the first floor of the Visual and Performing Arts building. Patrons are advised to use parking lot 7.
