Golf tournament to benefit SHARE

SHARE is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities lead more independent lives through the use of computer technology

The Sunday Morning Golfers and the Pawtuxet Valley Rotary Club invite golfers to the 25th Annual Ben Boyle Golf Classic "Share Ronnie's Dream," on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Richmond Country Club in Hope Valley, Rhode Island.

Golfers who participate will "win" the satisfaction of helping a charitable organization because the proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Society for Human Advancement Through Rehabilitation Engineering (SHARE) Foundation, Inc. SHARE supports the work done at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Center for Rehabilitation Engineering.

Shotgun scramble start time is 8 a.m. The registration fee of $125 includes the greens fee for 18 holes of golf on the beautiful Richmond Country Club course, a cart and a dinner served when players finish their rounds of play. Cost for the dinner only is $30.

Prizes will be awarded and tee signs are available.

SHARE is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities lead more independent lives through the use of computer technology.  To date, more than 2,600 children and adults with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and multiple sclerosis have received equipment and services that allow them to communicate and manage their environments through the power of computers.

For information and reservations, please call (401) 821-9100 -- Bob Bjorklund (x243) or Bill Pimental (x498) or SHARE at (508) 999-8482.
