Judith Klein Art Gallery will host UMass Dartmouth Student exhibitions

Judith Klein Art Gallery is showcasing an exhibition of work by selected UMass Dartmouth graduate students living and studying in New Bedford. Opening Reception is March 19.

Judith Klein Art Gallery is showcasing an exhibition of work by selected UMass Dartmouth graduate students living and studying in New Bedford. The exhibition focuses on encouraging art students and providing them with a platform to launch into the art world.  

The 2011 Students Exhibition opens on March 19  with a reception from 6-9 p.m. Meet the artists at the opening reception and during the April 14 AHA night. Gallery hours are Mon.-Tues., Thurs.-Sat. 12-5 p.m.

Student artist participating in the exhibition are: Claudine Metrick, sculpture; Hank Gatlin, sculpture; Elise Bowen, Sculpture;  Robert Green, sculpture; Kim Barry, painting; Yuganti Shirodkar,print making; Shauna Cahill,ceramics; Amy Uthus,ceramic; Brittany  Savolainen, installation; Lauren de Serres, sculpture; Mellissa Morris, painting; Nicholas Pregler, printmaker; Jeremy Baker Smith, painting; Laren Friedman, painting; Hayley Perry, painting; Sara Heiderich, sculpture; Samantha Carrell, painting; and Sarah Arnold, mix media.
