May 7, 2002 Students from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's percussion program will host a free concert on Tuesday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Center's main auditorium. Parking is in lot 5.

UMass Dartmouth percussionists to perform

Students from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth?s percussion program will host a free concert on Tuesday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Center?s main auditorium. Parking is in lot 5.

Led by Jamie Eckert, the percussion ensemble will perform songs from Latin America, the Caribbean, and other corners of the world. Senior percussion students will be featured on solo pieces.

The program?s second half will include a performance by the UMD Kekeli African Drum and Dance group as well as guest artist Kwabena Boateng.
