The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) at UMass Dartmouth presents its 2008 MFA Thesis Exhibition. This year's exhibition features work representative of the visual theses of sixteen Master of Fine Arts degree candidates. The stunning body of work spans several disciplines, including ceramics, digital media, fibers, graphic design, illustration, jewelry/metals, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and wood/furniture.
The exhibition will be held in the gallery spaces of the Star Store campus, April 5 through May 13, 2008. The exhibition is open daily from 9:00am 6:00pm. A reception celebrating the achievements of the degree candidates will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008, from 3-5pm.
The University Art Gallery is open daily from 9am-6pm. This exhibition and
reception are free of charge and open to the public.
The University Art Gallery is located in the Star Store Campus of UMass Dartmouth at 715 Purchase Street in downtown New Bedford. Parking is available in the nearby Zeiterion Parking Garage.
