Press Release: Wiretapping is subject of UMass Dartmouth, Southern New England School of Law forum Sept. 21

The program will focus on the recent Federal District Court decision in Detroit in which a federal judge ruled that the National Security Agency's warrantless surveillance program is unconstitutional.
The forum will include introductory remarks by College of Arts and Sciences Dean William Hogan and SNESL Dean Robert Ward; followed by a discussion by Professor Dwight Duncan, Professor of Constitutional Law, SNESL; Professor Frances Rudko, Professor of Constitutional Law. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Miriam Weismann, Southern New England School of Law.
"This topic is of particular interest at this time because it demonstrates how our Constitution is a living document that continues to protect our freedoms and protects our democratic society,'' Dean Hogan said.
