College of Engineering welcomes new faculty members

The College of Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Assistant Professors: Dr. Ken Lee in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Dr. Honggang Wang in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Lee earned a Ph.D. in 2009 from The Pennsylvania State University and his B.A. and M.Phil. in computing from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  His research encompasses mobile and pervasive computing, location-based services, and efficient database search and data mining techniques.

Dr. Wang received his B.E. and M.S. degrees from Southwest Jiaotong University China and then worked at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies from 2001 - 2004.  He earned his Ph.D. in computer engineering at the University of Nebraska -- Lincoln in 2009.  Dr. Wang's research emphasis includes networking, wireless sensor networks, multimedia communication, network and information security, embedded sensory systems, biomedical computing and pattern recognition.
