Dr. Haiping Xu and Dr. Ramprasad Balasubramanian of the Computer and Information Science Department have been awarded a research grant of $50,000 by the U.S. Marine Corps for 2008. The project investigates ontology-based dynamic service discovery for fault-tolerant service-oriented systems. This grant is funded through the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Newport and Northrop Grumman Corporation.
