Amur maple is a deciduous tree growing to 20' tall that may be formed as a rounded, large multi-stemmed shrub. Pruning would ensure a tree form. It is a tree that reseeds itself and can become invasive. Clusters of fragrant, yellowish-white flowers develop in spring. Autumn color is a mix of yellow and red. Hardiness zone 3. Specimens are located at the Entrance Gardens.
