Deciduous shrub10' ft high. Leaves simple, alternate, elliptic to oblong about 3", dull green. Flowers white or pink, about .5" wide, 9-20 in small clusters. Fruit bright red. Sun to part shade, moist to well-drained soil Excellent for mass plantings or borders especially for a natural effect. Located in the Entrance Gardens and Administration Building Gardens on campus. Hardiness Zone: 4
