Red witch hazel is a deciduous shrub that grows to be about 12' by 12' wide. Red witch hazel is vase-shaped shrub with magnificent scented dark red winter flowers. Flowers are dark copper red and bloom in mid-later winter and are fragrant. In autumn, the foliage turns from medium green to bright yellow to scarlet. Red Witch Hazel is used for woodland settings, flower arrangement or cut flowers. Next to Administration Building, south side. Hardy in zones 5-8.
