Parthenocisus tricuspidata 'Veitchii'
This deciduous vine has climbing tendrils that can reach up to 50' high on buildings. Tendrils are branched with holdfasts at tips. Leaves glossy green and simple lobed shape. Autumn foliage reddish purple. Greenish white flowers bloom in June. Bluish fruit ripen in September. It has a fast growth rate and needs no support. Full sun to full shade. Hardy to Zone 4. Located at the Alpin Rock Garden at the South end of Group I and the Athletic Center Garden.
