Family: Ericaceae

This dense growing, small, evergreen shrub is valued for its large trusses of deep red, showy flowers and thick leathery leaves. Growing approximately 5' high and wide, this plant is very effective as an accent shrub oor when planted in masses. . Nova Zemblaya can be found in the east side of the Campus Entrance Gardens beneath a flowering crab apple tree. Hardiness zone: 5-8
