A deciduous azalea grows dwarfed to medium in size, approximately 4-8ft tall with a spread of 6-8ft wide. Leaves grow alternate in pattern 1 to 4 _ inches long and are dark green on the top and light green underside. Leaves produce vibrant autumn colors in the fall. Flowers bloom in mid May, white to light pink in color. Royal azalea grows best in full to partial sun and in moist well-drained acidic soil. Zones: 5-8
