Fru Dagmar Hastrup
A deciduous azalea grows dwarfed to medium in size, approximately 2-8ft tall with a spread of 3-8ft wide. Leaves grow crinkled and alternate in pattern. In the fall leaves are deep reddish purple and then gold in color. Flowers bloom in early June to frost with a heavy fragrance of strong cloves, silvery pink with yellow stamens. 'Fru Dagmar Hastrup' grows best in full to partial sun and is drought, salt tolerant, and can be used as ground cover. Zones: 4-8
