International graduate students wishing to transfer to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from another institution in the United States should have the Transfer Status Verification Form filled out by their present International Student Advisor and returned by that other institution to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Graduate Office. The TOEFL or IELTS requirement is waived only for applicants who (1) have received at least 4 years of education (including their undergraduate program) in Australia, Canada (except Quebec), England, Ireland, Kenya, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, United States, or Wales; (2) have attended an English-speaking college or university in the United States for a period of at least two academic years full time; or (3) can be present in person to meet with officials of the University at the time of application for admission.
