THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERISTY ENROLLMENT CENTER

The University Enrollment Center (UEC) was launched as a successful one year pilot program in 1996 to create a "one-stop shop" environment, for Registrar's, Bursar's and Financial Aid Offices.  In 1999 Professional and Continuing Education was incorporated with the Enrollment Center to extend additional comprehensive enrollment and financial services for all students-- undergraduate, graduate and non-credit.

The services available to students at this one location include all aspects related to enrollment, registration, add/drop, enrollment verification and transcripts.  Students can receive personal assistance with financial account information, pay tuition and fees, housing bills, and parking tickets, as well as obtain information related to financial aid.  There are also three kiosks available in the lobby for students to conveniently access account information and obtain their schedule with the help of UEC staff.

As a proactive approach to increase our retention, graduation, and to enhance personal contact, courtesy phone calls are made every semester to students who have holds on their COIN account which would prevent registration.   The UEC is also responsible for retrieving and inputting verification documents required for financial aid awarding purposes and entering matriculation and housing deposits.
